I have this fake christmas tree from IKEA - which means that it folds flat when you're done - and some little wicker ornaments and a string of lights to go with it. This year, however, I've watched a little too much HGTV (motto: the most expensive channel on cable) and so I was moved to go buy some more ornaments.
Wanting to match the existing decorations, I found some woodsy sort of ornaments at Target and Michaels (they match really well for having been purchased at two different stores) and matched the color of the little glass bulbs I already had with some bigger gold bulbs from Big Lots. I went looking for the super super big ones, but couldn't find the colors I wanted. Which turned out to be okay; when I got home the regular big ones did just fine.The tree simply isn't full enough for the super large bulbs.
I also got a big bird clip for the top. The star was looking a little lonely (and a little wobbly, to tell the truth). My very favorites are the little bird ornaments that are little feathered fluff balls. I just keep petting them when I walk past :)
